Integrated Management System

Western Plant Hire is committed to implementing and maintaining an Integrated Management System that will continually improve efficiency and productivity, and ensure that all key Business Areas meet with the requirements of the system.

This Integrated Management System is developed and maintained using the most practical and user friendly concepts available to us. The Integrated Management System is integrated into all parts of Western Plant Hire business processes.

Our Primary Goal

The primary goal, is to ensure we fully understand our key functions and process requirements and to conform to these requirements at all times.

Our Objectives

• Provide adequate resources to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve the Integrated Management System;
• Communicate the Integrated Management System Policy, and the Integrated Management System Responsibilities & Accountabilities Matrix to all employees through inductions, training, documentation and ongoing examples we display in the workplace;
• Implementation and maintenance of standardized procedures, and supporting documents, to minimise the need for variation within all aspects of our business;
• Promote a performance standard of the highest practical level; and
• Increasing accountability through monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of implementation of the Integrated Management System through a schedule of audits and measurements to verify performance. Where appropriate each Business Areas shall establish appropriate performance indicators to ensure these objectives are being met.
• Compliance to the Integrated Management System is the responsibility of every Western Plant Hire employee, Subcontractor and Supplier.
• The Integrated Management System will be subject to continual improvement based upon ongoing feedback from users and customers, together with management reviews to ensure it meets with Western Plant Hire, Clients and market requirements.

This Policy applies to all employees (including labour hire), and contractors working for or providing services to Western Plant Hire at all sites and projects.

This policy and associated procedures will be reviewed every two years in consultation with employees and relevant parties to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
